Holidays and coming home

Well it’s been a wonderful holiday.  Hubby and I have traveled over 3,500 kilometers from the South Coast of NSW through Canberra (ACT) Rutherglen, Echuca and Ouyen in Victoria, to Adelaide in SA then back to NSW and Broken Hill, Cobar, Dubbo, Lake Macquarie, Goulburn and back to Canberra then home.

We’ve seen old mines, new mines, old pubs, new motels and had meals in every type of category – Asian, Australian, British and the old Macca’s.  We’ve eaten inside and outside, in the car and picnicking along the way.  All this in under three weeks. It’s been a blast.

Now getting to emails (currently over 200 of them) I find one of my flash fiction pieces is published on the Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild’s website (click  here).

Of course with all that travel I’ve not had time to write much.  Never mind as there are now lots of wonderful ideas for short stories.

On top of all this we’ve met delightful and interesting people and I managed to read several interesting books.

Not a bad life at all.

But I will be glad to get back to my own bed *sigh*
