I live on the South Coast of New South Wales and work at being a writer. My interests include reading, writing and discussing speculative fiction and I have a keen interest in new scientific discoveries (astrology, space exploration, cosmology, physics, psychology etc). I like to read about Australia, the political arena and environmental issues. I also love to knit and cross-stitch when I’m not into books, on the computer writing or out kayaking, I’m swimming and golfing.

I currently facilitate vocational training in all aspects of Project Management with Wisdom Learning, based in Canberra. For the past 30 years I was a Project Manager undertaking diverse activities including PM for overseas constructions (mainly in SE Asia), policy projects for the Australian Government and, as a Project Director, I spent many years as a specialist in IT Projects. The vast majority of the projects I managed were multi-million dollar contracts. Being a Project Officer, Project Manager and eventually Project Director came as an odd choice for me. Prior to that, and before getting several degrees, I will admit to being a simple (oh yeah) secretary, a Navy Medic and working in construction companies in many roles including accounts and scheduling.
I have a Bachelor Degree and several Graduate Diplomas including in Psychology, Law and Project Management and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (2014) and a Cert IV in Government – Statutory Compliance (2015). So you can see I’m always interested in learning.
